Cloud & DevOps Engineer
Building reliable AWS infrastructure and AI-powered products from Zimbabwe. I design, deploy, and operate production cloud environments — and I build the products that run on them.
Missions
A few things I've designed, shipped, and operated.
A real-time data-interaction platform that lets organizations query and explore their data in plain language. I built the query layer that maps natural language to database queries and contextual (RAG) retrieval across multiple sources, plus data pipelines for structured and unstructured data — with security and tenant isolation throughout.
An AI quotation generator for tradespeople and small businesses. Users describe a job in plain, messy language, such as a WhatsApp-style message or rough notes, and get a professional PDF quotation back.
A community-savings (Mukando) fintech app that digitizes traditional group-savings circles. I led the team, owning the technical direction and build. Zunde won first place in Fintech at POTRAZ Ideathon 2025.
Co-founded in 2021. I built and maintain the company platform and client sites, manage cloud hosting and server configuration, run CI/CD with automated backups, set up mail/SMTP and Google Workspace for clients, and mentor high-schoolers learning to code.

I started building websites in high school and freelancing for clients, then co-founded Omorfo Tech Labs in 2021.
2025 – Aug 2026
Operated production AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) and CI/CD for live environments. Earned the AWS Certified Developer – Associate in April 2026 and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional in July 2026.
2025
Texpo25 2nd Runner-Up (Team CtrlAltWin) and 2nd at the Google Campus Creator Challenge. Zunde won first place in Fintech at POTRAZ Ideathon 2025. Joined the AWS Student Builder Core Team.
2021 – 2024
Co-founded Omorfo Tech Labs in 2021, building client websites, cloud hosting and internal tools. Started a BSc in Computer Science at NUST in 2023 (2023–2027), and earned Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity in 2024.
2019 – 2023
Freelance web development and a member of the Meta Developer Circle Harare.
